  • Torsional Trailing arm independent (TTI) rear suspension

The industry's only independent rear suspension where the rear wheels pivot up and down in a vertical line rather than a more cumbersome butterfly motion. It is also strategically designed to offer point-and-shoot handling, optimal traction and the efficient transferring of power to the ground. With 5 preload settings on the shocks and 8.8 inches of suspension travel, the Outlander L MAX soaks up rough terrain to keep the rider comfortable and focused on the trail.

Outlander L MAX models are based upon the SST G2 frame with Geometric Contact Control.Its welded-steel frame is engineered with enhanced durability and structural integrity, plus precision handling.

  • Visco-Lok auto-locking front differential

The Can-Am Visco-Lok system is one of the most consumer friendly designs on the market, as the progressively and automatically locking front differential system requires no additional buttons to push or levers to hold. Once 4x4 is selected, the system intelligently transfers power from the slipping front wheel to the opposing wheel with traction and is not hampered by a speed or rev limiters.

  • 25-in. tires on 12-in. steel wheels

The wheels of the Can-Am Outlander L MAX are designed for durability. The 12-in. steel wheels are wrapped in 25-in. Carlisle Trail Wolf tires for rugged performance on tough terrain and changing conditions. The bigger tire design helps to easily overcome obstacles as you ride.

  • Available power steering

The Tri-Mode DPS™ is available on the Outlander L MAX DPS model. It features three selectable modes of steering assist (MIN, MED, and MAX) to adapt to your preference. Each mode is designed to offer less assist at high speed for better precision and more assist at low speed for easier steering.
