2015 Can-Am® Maverick™ X® xc DPS® 1000R White, Black & Can-Am Red

Challenge tight terrain with a narrower 60” profile.

This package takes all the ground-breaking innovations of the Can-Am® Maverick™ and optimizes them for pure-sport performance on the trail. At 60 in., it's narrower than other vehicles in the Maverick™ lineup. It also includes Tri-Mode Dynamic Power Steering (DPS®), Visco-Lok‡ QE auto-locking front differential and, beadlock wheels. The trail will often prove to be a difficult test, and the Maverick X xc DPS is built to take it on.

  • 101-hp Rotax® 1000R V-Twin Engine & Dual Exhaust

The 976cc, 101-hp Rotax® 1000R V-Twin engine is Can-Am's most powerful side-by-side engine. This liquid-cooled, single-overhead-cam power plant features four valves per cylinder and is fed by a 54mm Bosch8 throttle body and two sophisticated VDO Siemens8 fuel injectors.

  • Intelligent Throttle Control (iTC)

This electronic throttle-by-wire system works in conjunction with the 2.13 in. Bosch8 throttle body to produce smooth delivery, even if the driver's foot is bouncing due to rough terrain. The iTC system detects unwanted bounces and filters the input. Comes with a progressive and sport mode.

  • High-Flow Dynamics

When an engine breathes easier, it can produce more horsepower. So we optimized air intake, combustion, and exhaust flow. Larger intake plenum, high-flow heads, larger valves, increased compression ratio, and high-flow dual exhaust all contribute to this more powerful and efficient engine.

  • CVT Transmission With Zylon-Reinforced Belt

The Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) system showcases a Zylon-reinforced belt, a material with 1.6x higher tensile strength and increased belt rigidity in compression compared to a regular belt, keeping it cooler. A redesigned drive pulley with increased diameter for extra durability.

  • 625-W Magneto

This package provides a more powerful magneto with 625 W of power output.

  • Industry-Leading Power-to-Weight Ratio

Provides optimal power-to-weight ratio and acceleration, offering you a ride that delivers every bit of the standout performance you would expect from Can-Am.

  • TTA Independent Rear Suspension with 12” of Travel

The innovative Torsional Trailing A-arms (TTA) rear suspension is a compact version of a five-link suspension for no-bump steer, and the lowest scrub for optimized bump absorption and tire-to-ground contact. Features a lower unsprung weight and 12 in of travel.

  • FOX PODIUM X Performance 2.0 HPG Piggyback Shocks

Front and rear FOX PODIUM X Performance 2.0 HPG Piggyback shocks with compression and preload adjustments. Features dual-rate spring, 6-in Piggyback reservoir, velocity sensitive damping control, high-flow pistons, and more. Re-buildable design allows for easy service and valving changes.

  • 60" Vehicle Width

The narrower Maverick X xc DPS is ideal for trail riding. Its FOX PODIUM X Performance 2.0 HPG Piggyback shocks feature 12 in of travel, positioning the wheels closer to the vehicle for riding through tight-woods conditions.

  • Tri-Mode Dynamic Power Steering (DPS)

The electronically controlled power steering provides the driver with three different levels of assistance when steering. The amount of assistance varies with the vehicle's speed to adjust the steering input effort to a comfortable level. Features Visco-Lok QE for a faster engagement point.
